About Good Mornings

Coffee and matcha became our ritual during long days at our corporate jobs—the one thing we genuinely looked forward to between endless meetings and deadlines. But the more we paid attention to what we were putting in our bodies, the harder it became to ignore what was in most flavored syrups: artificial ingredients, strange aftertastes, and labels we couldn’t understand.

We kept asking ourselves:

“Why isn’t there a syrup we actually feel good about adding to our coffee?”

So one day, we decided to make it ourselves.

We weren’t chemists or food scientists—just two people who wanted something better. We started experimenting in our kitchens, testing combinations, failing often, and trying again. Eventually, we created something we loved: a simple syrup made with recognizable ingredients that actually enhanced everything it touched—from coffee and matcha to pancakes, espresso martinis, and ice cream.

At first, we shared it with friends and coworkers. Then their friends started asking for it too. That’s when we realized this wasn’t just our problem—it was something so many people had been settling for.

So we took the leap and built Good Mornings.

Because we believe a versatile simple syrup should do more than just taste good—it should make every coffee, matcha, cocktail, and sweet treat feel a little better. That’s why we created Good Mornings: clean ingredients, no artificial chemicals, and really good flavor.
